The end is simply the beginning

Now that book one in The Forgotten Heir Chronicles is just weeks from releasing, I have been thinking of my next step.

While book two is calling my name and begging to be written, the thought of leaping straight back into drafting just seems too insurmountable. So this November I have joined in on Pawrico. Pawrico stands for Pathfinders Writing Collective. It is a group where you can challenge yourself from October to January, setting any goals you like. Whether that is plotting out your next book, editing a completed draft, or writing every day.

Those things, and anything in between are supported and cheered on by everyone else taking part.

I've signed up for the month of November, to give myself something to do while Fawn is with ARC readers. My challenge is to write 1,000 words every day and finish up the month of November with a good 30,000 words.

I wanted to take some of the pressure off for the end of this year, so like I said previously, I decided not to draft book two. Instead I have started a brand new story.

My Pawrico project is a fun stand alone romantasy, which gives Cinderella vibes, but with a twist. At the moment I'm calling it my pallet cleanser book, but as I write more, I'm beginning to realise that it's pretty darn great.

So keep your eyes open. As well as The Forgotten Heir Chronicles books two, 2025 could bring two book releases.

Wish me luck!
